Our news MEC scoops Sean de Cuirteis to become Digital lead for North Asia

MEC, a leading media agency( www.mecglobal.com) has appointed Sean de Cuirteis as Director of Digital for MEC Interaction in North Asia. His appointment is effective immediately and he reports to Ben Poole. Sean will be based at MEC Hong Kong.

Sean comes to MEC following his departure from Media Contacts Asia Pacific. He will lead the agency's Colgate Palmolive multinational business team and support Ben, continuing to develop digital expertise and strategic thought leadership across Asia Pacific.

Sean started his career in digital media in 2001 with an email and SMS company in Ireland before moving to London in 2002 to work with Media Contacts on their Intel business, then adding clients such as Microsoft, Expedia and ING Direct. He was transferred to Media Contacts in Hong Kong in 2006 and took regional responsibility for Air France, Dell and Credit Suisse among others. Sean has been instrumental in establishing Media Contacts throughout Asia.
