MEC Singapore appointed as AOR for local government body
Singapore, 10th November 2008, for immediate release. Mediaedge:cia (MEC), a leading media communications specialist, today announced their confirmation as agency of record for the Singapore Sports Council (SSC). This is the first time that the organisation has awarded all of their planning, placement and activation requirements to a single media company.
"We are confident that MEC will provide professional consultancy to help Singapore Sports Council gain better insights into consumers' media consumption patterns so that we can be more effective in sending our messages to the intended audiences. This partnership will be a great boost to our efforts to create a sporting culture in Singapore” said Kelven Tan, Chief (Sports Marketing Group), Singapore Sports Council.
Since winning the tender for the “Let’s Play” branding campaign in April, MEC has built a strong relationship with the Sports Council, successfully tendering for other campaigns such as Team Singapore Beijing Olympic Games and Amore Women’s Day Out.
