Mediaedge:cia announces new Executive Head of Strategy
Mediaedge:cia (MEC) today announced the appointment of ST Ang as Executive Head of Strategy, MEC Australia.
Adrian Smith, General Manager MEC Australia said, “ST returns to Australia after a three year tenure in our Shanghai office, where he was responsible for enormous growth, taking the office from 10 to 60 staff in that time. His management and strategic communications skills are highly respected and we are thrilled to have such a strong asset return to us here in Australia. In recognition of his recent success, ST takes up the senior management role of Executive Head of Strategy overseeing both the Strategic Planning group and MEC MediaLab, our Insight and ROI department.”
ST’s appointment follows the announcement that Raj Gupta, previously Director of Strategic Planning, would relocate to Singapore to take up an Asia Pacific regional role within the Strategic Planning team there.
Smith added “Raj has been an enormous factor in the growth of MEC over the last 7 years and now commences the next stage of his career, moving to Singapore, where he is charged with the ongoing development of the strategic planning offer of MEC around the region. He will be sorely missed by staff, clients and media owners in Sydney.”
