Singapore - Mediaedge:cia (www.mecglobal.com), a leading media communications agency today announced that content specialist Mike Jackson has been named Managing Director of MEC Access Asia Pacific from January 2008.

Mike joins MEC Access from the UK after 4 years as Managing Partner with Performance, MindShare's specialist content and sponsorship division. While at Performance, Mike's clients included Ford, SAP, Nestle and BP, where he was responsible for Castrol's entry into UEFA Euro 2008. Prior to this, he ran Ipsos' content measurement unit for several years, giving him invaluable experience in building credible accountability measures for this burgeoning communications sector.

At MEC Access, Mike will continue to develop the creation and delivery of strategic partnerships and sponsorships across 9 different platforms: arts, brand-to-brand, broadcast, cause, celebrity, film, gaming, music and sport. He will work with local and regional client teams to build upon existing knowledge and expertise, helping to deliver best-in-class communications planning and implementation.
